Born in Stuttgart, Germany and raised in El Paso, TX and Boston, MA, LaShona came to know Christ at an early age. She always had the desire to dance. In 1990, she ministered her first pantomime at Church of God of Prophecy, Boston, MA, under the leadership of Bishop James Peters. In 2002, she attended Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, OK. In 2007, she graduated with her Bachelors of Art in Studio Art. In 2009, she ministered in the dance ministry called Wings, at Transformation Church: Greenwood (formerly Greenwood Christian Center), Tulsa, Ok, under the leadership of Bishop Gary and Pastor Debbie McIntosh. It was the first time LaShona ministered through praise dance. And even though she was dancing, she felt like she was not operating in her spot. In September 26, 2010, LaShona was introduced to the mime ministry under the teaching of Nysheah Broadwater, also known as Heaven’s Mime. After taking the School of the Arts twelve week class at Transformation Church Greenwood, LaShona began walking in her spot. She taught her first mime class January 15, 2012. LaShona was previously a part of a mime group called, Virtuous Mime Ministry, which consist of two other members, Lewana Harris and Patricia Ortiz. LaShona has also started her mime solo ministry called Motion Praise.
